Using patented deep motion algorithms, the platform creates a virtual physiotherapist that guides patients through personalized therapeutic exercises.
Bengaluru-based startup Resolve360 has announced the development of India’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR) application for active physiotherapy to address this shortfall.
Using patented deep motion algorithms, the platform creates a virtual physiotherapist who guides patients through personalized therapeutic exercises.
This method focuses on addressing underlying issues, distinguishing itself from traditional passive physiotherapy, which often targets only symptom relief.
Resolve360’s innovation combines expertise in managing neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions with advanced technology. Unlike AI systems that require additional hardware like infrared markers, this platform utilizes standard video cameras commonly found on electronic devices.
India’s physiotherapist-to-population ratio currently stands at 0.6 per 10,000 people, significantly below the World Health Organization’s recommended 1 per 10,000.
The platform has recently been patented and is currently undergoing testing. It is expected to be publicly released by mid-February. Resolve360 aims to make expert-level active physiotherapy accessible to tackle the rising prevalence of lifestyle-related disorders linked to sedentary behavior.
