Raman Saravanan Joins Baby Memorial Hospitals as the CEO

He brings over 30 years of experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries with expertise in P&L, strategic growth marketing, digital healthcare transformation, and organizational transformation.
Raman Saravanan has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of KKR-backed Baby Memorial Hospitals (BMH), where he will lead the BMH Thodupuzha unit.
He brings over 30 years of experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries with expertise in P&L, strategic growth marketing, digital healthcare transformation, and organizational transformation.
Prior to joining BMH as the CEO, Saravanan served as the Chief Operating Officer at Naruvi Hospitals, a Vellore-based multispecialty hospital.
During his tenure as the COO, he led the hospital’s organizational growth strategy and transformation initiatives under the KKR healthcare platform with a focus on operational efficiencies, stakeholder engagement, and scaling institutional exponential growth.
In addition, he worked as Chief Marketing Officer at Dr. Mohan's Diabetes Specialities Centre, where he played a crucial role in P&L management, marketing transformation, and digital innovation.
Further, his professional journey also includes senior roles at Noble Hospitals Pune, Craft Hospitality, MGM Healthcare, Gleneagles Global Hospitals, and Apollo Hospitals, where he led business development, marketing, and operations with strategic impact.
Saravanan holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Madras Christian College and an MBA degree from Anna University, Chennai.
Commenting on his elevation within the KKR-backed healthcare group, Saravanan stated the move to the mother brand Baby Memorial Hospitals from Naruvi Hospitals represents both an honour and a privilege.
He also noted that the transition reflects the value created through his previous leadership roles and acknowledged the support and welcome extended by Chairman Dr K. G. Alexander, Group CEO Harish Manian, and Group CHRO Amit Chauhan.
In his new role as the CEO, he expected to lead Baby Memorial Hospitals’ next phase of strategic growth and organizational transformation.
