Rajesh Singh Dayal Foundation to Build 600-Bed Hospital in Lucknow

The facility is aimed at expanding accessible medical services in the state, the foundation’s president, Rajesh Dayal, said.

Rajesh Singh Dayal Foundation on Tuesday announced plans to set up a 600-bed multi-speciality hospital in Lucknow with an investment of Rs 50 crore.

The facility is aimed at expanding accessible medical services in the state, the foundation’s president, Rajesh Dayal, said.

Dayal said the hospital will be equipped to serve a wide range of healthcare needs and is expected to strengthen the region’s medical infrastructure once operational. The project marks one of the foundation’s largest healthcare initiatives in Uttar Pradesh.

Ahead of the hospital’s inauguration, the foundation, in collaboration with Shri Gorakhnath Hospital and Research Centre, conducted a large-scale free health camp in Deoria. According to Dayal, specialist doctors, including those associated with AIIMS, participated in the camp, providing consultations and services to more than 1,500 people in a single day.

The foundation said it plans to organise similar medical camps across other districts in the coming months. These outreach drives are expected to support underserved communities and improve access to basic health services ahead of the hospital becoming functional.

Dayal added that the foundation aims to expand its healthcare initiatives across the state through partnerships and periodic health programmes.
