QuantHealth Secures $45 Mn to Expand AI Clinical Trial Simulations & Help Pharma Reduce Drug Development Risk

QuantHealth plans to use the new capital to expand its AI capabilities by developing next-generation predictive models and incorporating larger datasets to improve simulation accuracy.

Israel-based clinical trial simulation startup QuantHealth has secured $45 Mn in Series B funding to expand its AI platform, strengthen predictive models, and increase disease coverage.

The investment is expected to help the startup support pharmaceutical organizations in evaluating and optimizing clinical trial strategies before studies begin, reducing development risks and improving decision-making.

Founded in 2020 by CEO Orr Inbar and Chief Strategy and Operations Officer Arnon Horev, QuantHealth has developed an AI-based simulation platform designed to help life sciences organizations evaluate clinical development decisions before enrolling a single participant.

Rather than relying primarily on historical benchmarks or assumptions, the platform uses AI models to simulate how different trial designs are likely to perform under various conditions.

"Today, clinical development decisions are still largely made through real-world iteration- running trials, waiting for results, and adjusting at significant cost and risk,” CEO Orr Inbar said.

“We’re fundamentally changing that model. With our predictive simulations, teams can evaluate clinical and commercial decisions before enrolling a single patient or committing capital. This funding allows us to scale that approach, making simulation a standard step in development and fundamentally improving how drugs are brought to market."

According to the startup, its technology has already been used to simulate more than 600 clinical trials across 30 disease indications, achieving predictive accuracy of up to 90%.

QuantHealth also states that 12 of the world's top 20 pharmaceutical companies are currently using its platform to optimize trial design, assess efficacy and safety risks, and improve clinical development strategies before committing substantial resources.

The Series B funding round was led by Qumra Capital, with participation from Sanofi Ventures, Pitango HealthTech, Artofin Venture Capital Fund L.P., Bertelsmann Healthcare Investments, GC Ventures, NewHealth Ventures, Shoni Top Ventures, Esplanade Ventures, and other investors.

The latest investment brings QuantHealth's total funding to $75 Mn.

QuantHealth plans to use the new capital to expand its AI capabilities by developing next-generation predictive models and incorporating larger datasets to improve simulation accuracy.

It also intends to increase disease coverage from 30 to more than 40 indications, with a focus on oncology, cardiometabolic diseases, and inflammatory conditions.

In addition, QuantHealth aims to extend its platform beyond trial design into commercial planning, allowing pharmaceutical companies to evaluate decisions throughout the product development lifecycle.
