Perfios & IHX Join Forces to Accelerate Health Insurance Innovation

Perfios, an Indian B2B Fintech company specializing in software-as-a-service solutions, has acquired IHX, a leading healthcare information exchange platform, for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition aims to combine Perfios' capabilities in health data analytics with IHX's robust network of healthcare providers and payers, significantly improving the efficiency of the health insurance claims process.

IHX plays a critical role in India’s healthcare ecosystem, facilitating digital integration between hospitals and insurers.

The platform currently processes over 40% of India’s cashless health insurance claims, handling more than ten million transactions annually and managing claims worth over $1 billion (INR 85.11 bn), according to Perfios.

IHX has established partnerships with more than 30,000 hospitals across 1,200+ locations and collaborates with over 30 insurance payers.

This acquisition follows Perfios’ recent strategic expansions through the purchases of Clari5 and CreditNirvana, bolstering its offerings in financial crime risk management and debt management solutions.
