Paras Health Launches Panchkula’s First Robotic Surgical System

The robotic system will be deployed in departments including urology, oncology, gynecology, and general surgery.
Paras Health has inaugurated Panchkula’s first robotic surgical system, the advanced Da Vinci Xi, at its hospital in the city, marking a significant milestone in the region’s healthcare landscape.
The system, known for enabling minimally invasive procedures with high precision, represents a leap forward in accessible, world-class surgical care for the area.
The launch event, held at Paras Health Panchkula, saw the presence of senior healthcare leaders, government dignitaries, and medical experts.
Chief Guest, Ajay Chagti, IAS, Secretary, Health, Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, praised the initiative, saying, “It is heartening to witness such cutting-edge technology being introduced in Panchkula. Robotic-assisted surgery is no longer a distant future; it is today’s reality, and Paras Health has taken an important step in ensuring equitable access to advanced surgical care in the region.”
The Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System, globally regarded as the most advanced platform for minimally invasive surgery, enhances precision and reduces recovery time by enabling surgeons to operate with better 3D visualization and control through smaller incisions.

The robotic system will be deployed in departments including urology, oncology, gynecology, and general surgery, allowing patients in Panchkula and neighboring areas to receive complex procedures without needing to travel to metropolitan centers.

Paras Health currently operates eight hospitals, with two more under development, and is continuing its expansion nationwide.
