The Aarogyam Center features advanced diagnostic tools, including ultra-low-radiation CT scanners for cardiac screening and high-resolution 3D mammograms for breast cancer detection.
Narayana Health has launched a new AI-enabled preventive screening center—Narayana Aarogyam—to reduce diagnostic time and promote early health intervention.
The facility, located at Prestige Tech Park in Bengaluru’s IT corridor, is tailored to the needs of young urban professionals and offers streamlined 90-minute checkups without requiring fasting.
The Aarogyam Center features advanced diagnostic tools, including ultra-low-radiation CT scanners for cardiac screening and high-resolution 3D mammograms for breast cancer detection. The facility also offers four customizable wellness packages tailored for individuals under the age of 40.
As per the company, the Vital Care package is aimed at individuals under 35 and covers gut health, thyroid evaluation, and baseline diagnostic markers. The Prima package focuses on heart, liver, and lung assessments for those aged 35 to 40. The Enhanced package includes cancer risk profiling, while the Comprehensive package offers whole-body diagnostics and chronic disease indicators, all designed for users under 40.
Furthermore, the official statement claims that the center eliminates the requirement for fasting before any test, addressing time-related barriers that often prevent regular health checkups.
Commenting on the initiative, Dr Devi Shetty, Chairman of Narayana Health, said, “Aarogyam redefines preventive care by merging clinical excellence with accessibility. We aim to shift healthcare from reactive treatment to proactive wellness, ensuring early intervention becomes a lifestyle norm.”
The screening center has been designed to eliminate logistical challenges associated with traditional preventive checkups, such as the need for fasting and long wait times. Following a pilot phase in Q3 of 2024, the center has fine-tuned its operational workflow to handle high patient volumes while ensuring diagnostic accuracy.
Dr Emmanuel Rupert, MD and Group CEO of Narayana Health, said, "By integrating AI and low-radiation imaging, we deliver hospital-grade diagnostics in just 90 minutes game-changer for busy professionals. The elimination of fasting further reduces barriers to regular health checkups."
In a related development, Narayana Hrudayalaya announced plans to invest INR 900 Cr in a new multi-phase hospital project in Kolkata. The hospital will begin operations with 350 beds in the initial phase by the financial year 2028-29. Over the next three to ten years, the company aims to expand the facility into a 1,100-bed super-specialty hospital, catering to Eastern India's growing healthcare demands.
