MrMed Announces Infrastructure Expansion In BLR To Strengthen Specialty Medicine Supply Chain

The delivery network covers a wide range of critical therapies, including oncology medicines, immunosuppressants, and GLP-1 drugs such as semaglutide and tirzepatide.

MrMed has expanded its infrastructure in Bengaluru with a new storage and distribution hub, along with an expanded operations office, as part of its efforts to strengthen specialty and super-specialty medicine supply operations and improve delivery timelines across the city, with a focus on improving reliability for patients requiring continuous treatment.

The expansion includes an 850 sq ft storage and distribution facility located in central Bengaluru, designed to enable faster dispatch of critical care medicines across multiple parts of the city, including areas that have historically faced limited access to specialty pharmaceuticals.

In addition, the company has set up a 2,000+ sq ft Bengaluru office that functions as a central operations command centre. This facility oversees fulfilment, supply chain coordination, and service workflows, not only for Bengaluru but also for broader national operations.

MrMed has also strengthened its backend operations through deeper sourcing partnerships with local distributors and manufacturers, along with technology-led upgrades in order processing, billing, and dispatch systems. These improvements have supported the company’s ability to offer 24-hour delivery services across approximately 110 pin codes in Bengaluru, ranging from 560001 to 562162.

The delivery network covers a wide range of critical therapies, including oncology medicines, immunosuppressants, and GLP-1 drugs such as semaglutide and tirzepatide.

"Bengaluru is one of our largest target markets, which makes it the natural starting point for this level of investment," said Devashish Singh, Co-Founder & CEO, MrMed. "The operational challenge was never just speed — it was ensuring consistency across the entire order lifecycle, from real-time availability to last-mile delivery, at scale."

According to the company, the Bengaluru infrastructure model is intended to serve as a blueprint for expansion into other major cities. MrMed is planning to replicate the framework in Delhi and Chennai, followed by Guwahati, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.

The company also expects to achieve complete geographic coverage within Bengaluru over the next one to two months as it continues to scale its last-mile distribution network.
