Medtronic Launches Advanced Electrosurgical Devices in India

The company said the newly launched devices incorporate TissueFect sensing technology, which automatically adjusts the level of energy delivered depending on the type of tissue being treated.

Medtronic has announced the launch of two electrosurgical devices in India—Valleylab FT10 Electrosurgical Generator (VLFT10FXGEN) and Valleylab FT10 Vessel Sealing Generator (VLFT10LSGEN).

The company said the newly launched devices incorporate TissueFect sensing technology, which automatically adjusts the level of energy delivered depending on the type of tissue being treated.

This feature is indicated to enhance precision and reduce risks during surgical procedures.

Integrated technologies for surgical environments

According to Medtronic, the platform integrates monopolar, bipolar, and LigaSure™ technologies, supported by advanced sensors and rapid processing algorithms. The system is designed to adapt to variable surgical environments, including differences in anatomy and comorbidities.

The adaptability of the devices is indicated to support consistent energy delivery and allow surgical teams to focus more effectively on patient care, the company stated.
