Marengo Asia Strengthens Western India Presence with Sunshine Global Hospitals Buyout
The expansion marks a significant step in strengthening Marengo’s footprint and service capabilities across Western India.
Marengo Asia Hospitals has announced the acquisition of Gujarat-based Sunshine Global Hospitals, adding a combined capacity of 350 beds in Surat and Vadodara.
“As we expand our presence in Western India, we are excited to enter two prominent cities of Vadodara and Surat and bring in our advanced tertiary and quaternary care expertise to the people of these cities and nearby areas,” Marengo Asia Hospitals Founder and Group CEO Raajiv Singhal said in a statement.
The company did not disclose the financial details of the acquisition.
With this addition, Marengo Asia Hospitals now operates a total of eight hospitals with a cumulative capacity of 2,500 beds, supported by a team of more than 900 doctors and 5,200 employees.
The expansion marks a significant step in strengthening Marengo’s footprint and service capabilities across Western India.
