Kauvery Hospital Deploys Secure Clinical Communication Platform Across its Network

Kauvery Hospital is the first hospital group in India to implement a secure, enterprise‑controlled clinical communication system.

India’s leading healthcare provider, Kauvery Hospital, has deployed the NetSfere Secure Communications Platform across its hospital network to strengthen clinical communication and protect sensitive patient information.

The initiative is intended to enhance secure communication across distributed care teams while supporting the Group’s data-protection and digital-health priorities.

As per reports, Kauvery Hospital is the first hospital group in India to implement a secure, enterprise‑controlled clinical communication system.

The deployment is planned over the next three years and is expected to support more than 1200 users across over 100 teams.

The initiative builds on Kauvery Hospital’s established focus on digital health and data security.

It seeks to enhance patient data protection and support the Group’s readiness for evolving regulatory requirements, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act).

The deployment will establish a centrally governed communication platform designed to enable a secure alternative to fragmented communication systems and consumer messaging applications for care coordination.

By leveraging NetSphere’s communication platform, Kauvery seeks to enable faster coordination across distributed teams while strengthening control, visibility, and auditability.

The initiative also seeks to strengthen the hospital group’s readiness for evolving data-protection and privacy requirements, including those under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act).

Among other features, the deployment will involve an India-based deployment supporting local data governance, enterprise-grade security controls and certifications, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve information access and workflow efficiency.

Kauvery Hospital is a leading multi‑specialty healthcare provider in India, recognised for clinical excellence, patient‑centric care, and advanced medical infrastructure.

Currently, it operates 12 hospitals across six locations, including Trichy, Chennai, Salem, Hosur, Tirunelveli, and Bengaluru.

The healthcare provider is focused on innovation, clinical outcomes, and continuous advancement in healthcare delivery.

Commenting on the latest deployment, Dr. Manivannan Selvaraj, Founder & MD, Kauvery Group of Hospitals, said, “As Kauvery Hospital expands, our digital infrastructure must evolve alongside our clinical capabilities. Our NABH Digital Health Platinum certification reflects our focus on patient data security, and the deployment of NetSfere further strengthens secure communication across our network. This is an important step towards coordinated care and a future‑ready healthcare ecosystem.”

NetSfere is a next‑generation secure enterprise communication platform developed by Infinite Convergence Solutions.
