Invicta Diagnostic Expands into Nashik with Majority Stake in Vinchurkar Diagnostics

The acquisition, to be executed in two stages, will provide Invicta with immediate access to established infrastructure and an experienced workforce.

The Mumbai-based Invicta Diagnostic has announced its strategic expansion into Nashik by approving the phased acquisition of up to 95% equity in Vinchurkar Diagnostics for INR 7.60 Cr, enabling its entry into Nashik and strengthening its presence beyond the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The acquisition will be executed in two stages. Invicta will first acquire 51% stake by May 31, 2026, followed by an additional 44% stake by October 31, 2026.

Commenting on the development, Sanket Vinod Jain, Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Invicta Diagnostic, said, “This acquisition aligns with our strategy to expand beyond the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and strengthen our presence across key markets in Maharashtra. Nashik is a high-potential healthcare market, and our entry into the region supports our long-term growth plans.”

Founded in 1993, Vinchurkar Diagnostics has established itself as a longstanding diagnostic service provider in Nashik. It offers a broad spectrum of imaging and pathology services, including CT scans, MRI, and mammography, supported by round-the-clock operations.

The centre has played a pioneering role in the region, being among the first private facilities in Nashik to introduce CT and mammography in 1995, followed by MRI in 1999 and superconducting MRI in 2004. For FY25, it reported a turnover of INR 4.45 Cr, indicating stable and sustained regional operations.

This acquisition provides Invicta with immediate access to an established infrastructure and experienced workforce.

“We are acquiring an already established and reputed diagnostic player with a strong legacy and deep-rooted presence in the local market. This allows us to leverage existing capabilities, enhance service offerings, and drive operational synergies, while continuing to deliver high-quality diagnostic services to a wider patient base,” Sanket Vinod added.
