Dr Jivraj Mehta Hospital Unveils Gujarat’s first AI-powered Inclusive CT Scan

Ahmedabad’s multi-specialty healthcare institution, Dr Jivraj Mehta Hospital, has introduced Gujarat’s first AI-powered Inclusive CT Scan.

The new facility is intended to strengthen the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities and expand access to advanced imaging services by leveraging artificial intelligence.

The initiative is also aimed at supporting access to quality and affordable diagnostic services for the local community.

As per reports, the CT scanner has been supported through GEL’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative and implemented by SETU Society.

The facility was inaugurated in the presence of Avantika Singh Aulakh, IAS, Managing Director of Gujarat Energy Limited (GEL), alongside other senior representatives of the hospitals

The installation expands Dr Jivraj Mehta Hospital’s ongoing adoption of digital healthcare and technology-enabled solutions.

In an earlier development, Dr Jivraj Mehta Hospital had entered into a strategic alliance with MedLern, a full-stack healthcare training solution for hospitals and professionals.

Under the partnership, the hospital is using MedLern’s digital learning solutions for healthcare workforce training, with the stated objective of supporting operational efficiency and patient care.

This includes online courses, interactive content, and other digital tools designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals.

The latest initiative comes amid wider adoption of AI-enabled healthcare technologies in Gujarat.

In a recent development, Lord’s Mark Industries launched India’s first fully integrated AI-powered dialysis ecosystem at Shakti Super Speciality Hospital in Ahmedabad, built around the indigenously developed Renalyx machine, alongside AI-driven clinical and operational platforms.
