Innovaccer Partners with Saudi Arabia’s Tawuniya to Advance Population Health
Both organizations will combine Innovaccer’s healthcare data unification and analytics capabilities with Tawuniya’s expertise in health insurance and risk management.
San Francisco-based health data analytics firm Innovaccer has announced a strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia’s cooperative insurance company Tawuniya to accelerate the adoption of value-based care and population health management in the Kingdom.
Under a memorandum of understanding, both organizations will combine Innovaccer’s healthcare data unification and analytics capabilities with Tawuniya’s expertise in health insurance and risk management.
The partnership seeks to develop a connected ecosystem that rewards outcomes over activity, promotes preventive health, and supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goal of building a sustainable, patient-centered healthcare system.
Innovaccer’s data activation platform transforms raw data from multiple sources into actionable insights, while its AI-powered assistants automate low-value administrative tasks to help reduce the burden on care teams and enhance patient engagement.
Through this collaboration, Innovaccer’s population health tools will support data unification, risk stratification, predictive analytics, and AI-based workflows, strengthening Tawuniya’s value-based insurance models. By linking disconnected data systems, both companies aim to build a cohesive perspective of population health, enabling faster, data-driven decisions that improve care quality and optimize costs.
“Tawuniya plays a central role in shaping how care is financed, delivered and experienced in Saudi Arabia,” said Abhinav Shashank, cofounder and CEO of Innovaccer.
“Together, we aim to move beyond claims and costs, to connect insights across the health continuum and enable value-based care models that improve both outcomes and sustainability. This partnership represents the next step in building the data and intelligence foundation for Vision 2030.”
The move marks another milestone in Innovaccer’s expanding global collaborations. In recent months, the company has partnered with NVIDIA to advance multimodal AI for healthcare, launched its Galaxy platform for payer risk management, and acquired Story Health to bolster virtual cardiovascular care solutions.
