Gurugram Gets Adayu, Fortis’ Dedicated Mental Health Center

The new 36-bed centre positions itself as a specialized space for individuals seeking structured support, combining clinical expertise with a calming treatment setting.

Fortis Healthcare has opened Adayu, a dedicated mental health hospital in Gurugram designed to provide focused and personalised psychiatric care.

The new 36-bed centre positions itself as a specialised space for individuals seeking structured support, combining clinical expertise with a calming treatment setting.

The hospital offers private healing areas and programmes built around measurable outcomes, supported by multidisciplinary teams trained to handle a wide spectrum of mental health needs. The model emphasises integrated care pathways for patients requiring sustained and guided recovery.

Fortis and IHH leaders marked the launch, underscoring the organisation’s broader push to strengthen mental health services in the country. The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to expand access to professional, continuous, and evidence-based mental health care.

In a similar development, last month, Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI) unveiled Hembot, the first life-sized humanoid robot meant for healthcare settings.

The robot is built on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform and, capable of 100 trillion AI operations per second.

It was introduced to demonstrate how humanoid systems may support hospitals in areas such as patient guidance, navigation, clinical information support, monitoring assistance, and general engagement in OPDs and waiting areas within clinical settings.

Reportedly, Hembot also showcased its ability to perform synchronised movements while responding to commands and interactions.
