Fortis Launches Next-Gen Oncology Department at Fortis Mulund

The new center brings together Medical, Surgical, and Radiation Oncology along with PET-CT, 3T MRI, Genomics, and Scalp Cooling Therapy, all under one roof, enabling seamless coordination for patients.

Fortis HealthCare are has introduced a comprehensive cancer care center integrating advanced technology and holistic healing.

It has launched its next-generation Oncology Department at Fortis Hospital, Mulund, offering precision-driven cancer care through cutting-edge technology and multidisciplinary expertise.

The new centre brings together Medical, Surgical, and Radiation Oncology along with PET-CT, 3T MRI, Genomics, and Scalp Cooling Therapy, all under one roof, enabling seamless coordination for patients.

The facility was inaugurated by cancer survivor and actor Mahima Chaudhry. Designed as a space for healing, recovery, and hope, the centre places strong emphasis on emotional wellness, nutrition, and long-term survivorship. 

Days back, Fortis Healthcare announced to invest more than INR 900 crore in Mohali to expand its existing campus further, Punjab Industry Minister Sanjeev Arora.

As part of the expansion plan, Fortis Healthcare plans to increase capacity by more than 400 beds and create a world-class center of excellence, according to an official statement. Health Minister Arora said that this integrated healthcare campus of Fortis Hospital Mohali will spread to more than 13.4 acres.
