Enbio AG, a global autoclave steriliser manufacturer, has introduced its Swiss-designed sterilisation technology in Karnataka.
Focusing primarily on Karnataka and adjacent markets, Enbio AG exhibited its B-class autoclaves designed to sterilise microsurgical instruments in 7-9 minutes.
This development intends to secure a significant market share, particularly in the southern region, and to play a pivotal role in curbing the rampant spread of infections within healthcare facilities.
Enbio AG has been diligently establishing a robust presence in major Indian metro cities, widening accessibility to their state-of-the-art products.
These include compact and portable autoclaves, vital for various healthcare facilities in Bengaluru and other critical areas in southern India.
Karolina Matracka, the global sales and marketing director of Enbio, said, "We aim to expand our sales and service network throughout the nation, with a specific focus on the Karnataka region. This initiative is geared towards providing extensive coverage and support to our customers, ultimately strengthening our footprint in the Indian autoclave market."
Enbio's Swiss-designed autoclaves boast digital displays, touchscreens, and programmable settings, effectively reducing human error and ensuring optimal sterilisation conditions. Moreover, they integrate advanced alloys and materials, enhancing durability and corrosion resistance. This results in a longer service life and reduces maintenance requirements.
Commenting on the same, Prashant Arer, India head of Enbio, said, "Doctors often face challenges during emergencies, waiting for sterilized instruments, potentially causing delays in critical surgeries. Enbio's autoclaves are designed to be fast, affordable, quality-certified, portable, swift, silent, and easy to use, addressing these critical needs."
Enbio's sterilisers, compared to traditional vacuum autoclaves, are up to six times smaller and three times lighter while maintaining good work efficiency.
In emergencies, they can sterilise unwrapped instruments for immediate use in seven minutes, offering vital tools to healthcare professionals precisely when needed.
The autoclave industry has witnessed notable advancements in recent years, transforming sterilisation processes across various industries, especially healthcare.
Industry estimates suggest the autoclave market exceeded $2.2 billion in 2020, with an anticipated CAGR of over 9.7% between 2021 and 2027.
The global steam autoclave market is projected to reach $3.18 billion by 2028, underscoring the increasing emphasis on efficient sterilisation technologies in healthcare.
