Enbio AG, a prominent player in the global autoclave sector, has introduced its advanced Swiss-designed sterilisers in India.
The company enjoys its presence in 50 countries and with its India entry, Enbio has now set forth an ambitious plan to capture a significant market share within the next two to three years.
For this, the company is unveiling its state-of-the-art B Class Autoclaves here. The Autoclave, as per the company, is capable of sterilising microsurgical instruments in 7-9 minutes.
Karolina Matracka, global sales and marketing director of Enbio Group AG, said, "Enbio is rapidly establishing its footprint in major Indian metro cities, ensuring seamless access to its advanced products for various healthcare facilities. Our focus is on the Indian market, and we are prepared to invest in expanding our business operations here."
To cater to the growing demand for fast, efficient, and reliable sterilisation solutions, Enbio is actively expanding its sales and service network across the nation. This strategic expansion aims to strengthen Enbio's position in the Indian autoclave market. This is especially true given the rising emphasis on infection control practices in healthcare facilities post-pandemic.
The autoclave industry has witnessed remarkable advancements in recent years, transforming sterilisation processes across industries, particularly healthcare. Industry estimates project the autoclaves market to have exceeded USD 2.2 billion in 2020, with an anticipated CAGR of over 9.7% between 2021 and 2027. The global steam autoclave market is projected to reach USD 3.18 billion by 2028.
Enbio, a key player in this sector, leverages its expertise to provide innovative autoclave technologies and services. Its Class B autoclave sterilisers address nosocomial infections by significantly reducing sterilisation time through flash sterilisation cycles. This enables healthcare professionals to respond swiftly during emergencies, facilitating prompt and safe surgical interventions.
Prashant Arer, India head of Enbio, highlighted the current challenges faced by healthcare practitioners due to time-consuming sterilisation options. He emphasised the need for autoclaves that are fast, affordable, quality-certified, compact, portable, swift, silent, and user-friendly, especially for microsurgical instruments used by dentists and ophthalmologists.
Enbio's autoclaves use digital controls and automation, ensuring precise and consistent sterilisation cycles. Advanced alloys and materials enhance durability, while intelligent sensors and monitoring systems ensure real-time adherence to specified parameters. Enhanced safety features including automatic pressure release mechanisms and door-locking systems contribute to operational safety.
Enbio's sterilisers offer speed, efficiency, safety, and affordability. As per the company, they outshine traditional autoclaves by being up to four times faster, six times smaller, and three times lighter while maintaining superior work efficiency.
