ekincare Launches elva.AI to Automate Employee Healthcare Queries
According to the company, elva.AI is designed to operate across areas like pharmacy, checkups, and reimbursements.
ekincare has launched elva.AI, a generative AI-powered assistant built to address employee healthcare-related queries instantly and reduce dependence on manual support systems.
According to the company, elva.AI is designed to operate across areas like pharmacy, checkups, and reimbursements. It currently resolves 80% of queries without human intervention. It has reduced the average response time to three seconds and halved the number of support touchpoints per query.
“In a world where instant, personalised support is the new standard, healthcare can no longer afford to be slow or fragmented,” said Srikanth Samudrala, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at ekincare.
“With elva.AI, we combine GenAI with deep healthcare understanding to deliver the right answers at the right time.”
The company stated that elva.AI can handle over 350 queries per minute and integrates with ekincare’s platform. Key features include 35% faster resolution time, live agent escalation, and integrated ticketing, with seamless handover in cases requiring human support.
The chatbot uses advanced large language models and retains context across support interactions. Currently focused on platform-based support, ekincare plans to expand elva.AI’s role to a context-aware health assistant capable of reading health reports, identifying health trends, and providing personalised recommendations based on historical records.
ekincare said this development marks the launch of what it sees as India’s first GenAI-based health companion created for individual employee healthcare needs.
The rollout comes amid increasing adoption of AI-driven tools by Indian companies to streamline employee support. In the healthcare segment, where timely responses are critical, elva.AI aims to bridge existing gaps in accessibility and efficiency.
