Dr Anusha Patimalla Appointed Chief Operating Officer at Banjara Hill's Star Hospitals
Prior to joining Star Hospitals, Dr Patimalla served as Facility Director at Citizens Specialty Hospital.
Dr Anusha Patimalla has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer at Star Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Dr Patimala stepped into this new role after a career spanning healthcare operations, business strategy, clinical services and facility management.
In her new role, Dr Patimalla will draw on her experience in healthcare operations, strategic planning, business management and clinical administration to support operational excellence and the continued growth of Star Hospitals.
Prior to joining Star Hospitals, Dr Patimalla served as Facility Director at Citizens Specialty Hospital. Before that, she spent over six years with Medicover Hospitals, where she held roles including Cluster Head of Business and Operations and Medical Superintendent.
Her earlier experience also includes serving as Consultant Pathologist and Blood Bank Officer at Medicover Hospitals and Consultant Pathologist at CARE Hospitals, India. She began her professional career as Senior Registrar at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad.
Months back, the hospital expanded its presence to West Bengal with the inauguration of its first Information Centre and Air Ambulance Services in Ballygunge, Kolkata, strengthening access to specialised healthcare services for patients in the region.
The initiative aimed at addressing the rising number of patients from Kolkata travelling to Hyderabad for advanced medical treatments. The new centre is designed to provide local consultation support, streamline treatment coordination, and enable continuity of care with STAR Hospitals’ specialist teams.
