The DHN Town Hall on India AI Impact Summit brought together healthcare leaders and policymakers to explore how AI and ABDM are transforming healthcare through trusted data infrastructure, responsible innovation, and patient-centric care. Dr RS Sharma, Former CEO of NHA and Strategic Advisor, DHN, described AI and ABDM as complementary forces driving healthcare transformation, stating, "ABDM has come at the very right time and so has AI at the very right time... it is going to become a combinatorial kind of expansion or exponential growth into both these areas."

Reinforcing the importance of data ownership, he added that "it was a patient who is the ultimate owner of his or her data and without his or her permission, no data can become mobile." Aneesh Chopra, Former First CTO of the United States, praised India's consent-driven architecture, noting that "Building that consent at the ground level in ABDM is a model that I want to bring back." The panel also explored practical challenges and opportunities in AI adoption.
