CM Fadnavis Inaugurates 150-Bed Apulki Medical Centre in Baner for Affordable Cancer Care

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has inaugurated the 150-bed Apulki Medical Centre in Baner, Pune, marking a significant addition to the state’s affordable cancer and cardiac care infrastructure.
The facility aims to offer advanced cancer and cardiac treatment while maintaining affordability for patients seeking quality care in Pune and nearby regions.
Fadnavis said, “The Apulki Medical Centre will become a milestone in the healthcare sector. Similar hospitals can be developed across Maharashtra in the future using this model.”
He added, “The Pune Municipal Corporation and Apulki Medical Centre have created a model that can become a milestone for the future. Similar hospitals can be developed across the state using this framework”.
The project has been jointly developed by Apulki Healthcare and the Pune Municipal Corporation under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
Equipped with modern medical infrastructure and advanced treatment technologies, the hospital has been positioned as a dedicated centre for oncology and cardiac care.
The Chief Minister also acknowledged the hospital’s commitment to providing treatment at Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) rates and through government-supported healthcare schemes.
