Cent Raises $15 Mn in Series A Funding, Acquires AI Radiology Platform Medsee
The fresh infusion of funds seeks to support investments in technology, its AI and bioinformatics platform, clinical research and team expansion.
Cent, a preventive health intelligence company, has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Blume Ventures and South Park Commons. The company has also acquired Medsee, an AI-powered radiology reporting platform founded by Chitra Singh.
According to the announcement shared by Cent co-founder Arpit Garg on LinkedIn, the funding will support investments in technology, its AI and bioinformatics platform, clinical research, and team expansion.
Cent said it has completed more than 10,000 scans and identified major health findings in over 2,500 people through its assessments. Nearly 350 people were found to have potentially life-threatening conditions, many of whom were unaware of their conditions.
The acquisition of Medsee is intended to strengthen Cent’s clinical workflows as it expands its preventive screening services. Medsee helps radiologists interpret scans and generate structured reports faster and more consistently, with clinical experts remaining at the centre of every decision.
Cent aims to help save one million lives by 2035. The company plans to develop technology that combines advanced imaging, AI, genomics, blood biomarkers, and continuous health data to improve its understanding of human health and support early disease detection.
Founded in 2025 by Shashank ND, Arpit Garg and Anshul Khandelwal, Cent is building a platform focused on detecting serious illnesses before symptoms appear. Its approach combines advanced imaging, more than 120 biomarkers and AI-powered analysis to assess risks across cardiac, cancer, neurological, and metabolic conditions.
