CARE Hospitals Appoints Abhinav Joshi as Hospital Chief Operating Officer at Banjara Hills Facility

In this role, Joshi will oversee the end-to-end clinical and administrative operations of the hospital, a 435-bed multi-specialty facility.

CARE Hospitals, part of Quality CARE India Limited, has appointed Abhinav Joshi as Hospital Chief Operating Officer (HCOO) at its Banjara Hills facility in Hyderabad, effective March 2026.

In this role, Joshi will oversee the end-to-end clinical and administrative operations of the hospital, a 435-bed multi-specialty facility. His responsibilities include improving patient outcomes, enhancing operational efficiency, and strengthening relationships with consultants and clinical teams.

Joshi brings more than 18 years of experience in healthcare administration and hospital operations. Prior to joining CARE Hospitals, he served as Vice President of Operations at Sahyadri Hospitals, where he managed cluster operations and administrative functions across multiple facilities.

Earlier in his career, Joshi held senior leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer at HCG Hospitals in Ahmedabad and Rajkot. He also served as Regional Head at Motherhood Hospitals, overseeing operational management across regional units.

The appointment marks a return to CARE Hospitals for Joshi. In 2017, he served as Deputy General Manager – Operations at the Banjara Hills unit. His previous tenure included responsibilities related to hospital operations and service delivery at the facility.

Joshi’s experience also includes nearly seven years with HCG Multispecialty Hospitals, where he worked on hospital management and financial operations, including profit and loss responsibilities. Earlier in his career, he was associated with Wockhardt Hospitals, gaining operational experience in healthcare administration.

Announcing his new role in a professional update, Joshi said he looks forward to contributing to patient care and healthcare delivery at CARE Hospitals.

CARE Hospitals’ Banjara Hills facility is one of the group’s flagship hospitals, offering multi-specialty services and tertiary care in Hyderabad. Joshi’s appointment comes as the hospital continues to focus on strengthening operational leadership and clinical service delivery.
