AvaSure Secures Epic Toolbox Designation for Inpatient Virtual Care Integration

AvaSure announced that its Virtual Care Platform has received designation in Epic’s Toolbox for the Inpatient Virtual Care category, confirming that the platform meets Epic’s recommended practices for integration and functionality.
The designation underscores AvaSure’s alignment with Epic’s standards for Embedded Context-Aware Linking (ECAL) and Context-Aware Linking (CAL), ensuring a fully integrated virtual care experience within clinical workflows.

According to the company, the integration enables healthcare teams to launch AvaSure-powered virtual visits directly from Epic interfaces, connect with patients in real time, and access key functions without leaving the system. The collaboration also supports Epic Monitor and MyChart Bedside TV features, facilitating centralized patient monitoring and in-room virtual visits.
