Apollo Hospitals Signs MoU With Roche Diagnostics India to Advance Digital Clinical Care

The agreement was formalised during THIT 2026, Apollo’s global health technology platform, held in Mumbai.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Roche Diagnostics India Pvt. Ltd. to expand the use of artificial intelligence in clinical care delivery.

The agreement was formalised during THIT 2026, Apollo’s global health technology platform, held in Mumbai.

The collaboration aims to leverage AI-driven digital tools to support clinical decision-making, improve early diagnosis of complex diseases, and enhance efficiency across hospital workflows. As part of the initiative, Roche’s Navify Algorithm Suite, a cloud-based clinical decision support platform, will be deployed alongside Apollo’s existing clinical systems.

According to Apollo, the platform will integrate with electronic medical records (EMRs), laboratory information systems (LISs), and hospital information systems (HISs) to generate patient-centric insights and streamline clinical processes. The deployment is expected to support clinicians by enabling faster interpretation of clinical and diagnostic data within routine care settings.

Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, said the collaboration aligns with Apollo’s broader focus on digital transformation in healthcare. “By combining Apollo’s clinical expertise with Roche’s digital innovation, we aim to accelerate early diagnosis, streamline clinical workflows, and improve quality of life for patients,” she said.

The MoU also outlines plans to explore real-world testing and validation of AI algorithms across Apollo’s innovation and research centres. These activities will assess the performance and applicability of digital tools in live clinical environments. Roche Diagnostics India will contribute platform capabilities, system integration support, and global diagnostics expertise to the initiative.

Rishubh Gupta, managing director, Roche Diagnostics India, said the collaboration will support the adoption of AI-powered healthcare solutions by transforming healthcare data into actionable insights. He added that the focus would be on enabling more precise and timely clinical decision-making at scale.

The agreement establishes a framework for potential future collaboration between the two organisations, with an emphasis on responsible deployment of digital health technologies and scalability across large healthcare networks.

Apollo Hospitals operates a large integrated healthcare ecosystem in India, with over 10,400 beds across 73 hospitals, along with an extensive network of pharmacies, clinics, diagnostic centres, and telemedicine facilities. The group has been expanding its digital and technology-led initiatives as part of its broader strategy to integrate advanced tools into clinical care delivery.
