Agilent Launches InfinityLab Pro iQ Series for Enhanced Mass Detection

The series is tailored for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, academic, government, and environmental labs focused on healthcare, food safety, and chemical analysis.

Agilent Technologies Inc. has introduced the InfinityLab Pro iQ Series, comprising the Pro iQ and Pro iQ Plus systems, aimed at advancing liquid chromatography (LC)-mass detection.

The series is tailored for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, academic, government, and environmental labs focused on healthcare, food safety, and chemical analysis.

Both systems support workflows such as mass confirmation, impurity profiling, biomolecule characterization, trace contaminant detection, and compound purification. Their design enables high-quality results in both routine and advanced analytical settings.

Dr. Iris Mangelschots, vice president and general manager of Agilent’s Liquid Phase Division, said, “With the launch of the Pro iQ Series, Agilent is redefining the future of liquid chromatography detection and demonstrating our continuing commitment to delivering leading-edge solutions to help customers push the boundaries of scientific discovery. The advanced Pro iQ Series will empower researchers to achieve unprecedented insight and efficiency, making complex analyses more accessible and sustainable.”

The Pro iQ Series is suited for analyzing therapeutic small molecules, oligonucleotides, peptides, and proteins. It provides robust, high-resolution data for safety and stability checks, enabling precise isolation of target compounds for downstream applications.

The Pro iQ Plus supports high-sensitivity detection with a mass range of m/z 2–3,000, using Agilent Jet Stream (AJS) technology. It is positioned for advanced research where expanded analytical performance is needed. The standard Pro iQ system, with a m/z 2–1,600 range, is optimized for small molecule workflows.

Jennifer Gushue, associate vice president of LC/MS Product Marketing at Agilent, said, “The versatility of the Pro iQ Series opens new possibilities across a wide spectrum of application areas—from pharmaceutical development and quality control to biotherapeutics, environmental testing, and academic research. Whether it's ensuring the purity of life-saving drugs, characterizing complex biomolecules—such as oligonucleotides and peptides—or advancing cutting-edge research, these systems deliver the precision, sensitivity, and intelligence today’s scientists need to solve tomorrow’s challenges.”
