AcuityMD Raises $80 Mn in Funding to Scale Agentic AI Capabilities

The startup plans to extend its product lifecycle capabilities, including research and development, launch strategy, and commercialization of next-generation medical devices

Boston-based healthtech startup AcuityMD has raised $80 million in Series C funding, bringing the total valuation to approximately $ 1 billion.

The round was led by StepStone Group, with participation from Benchmark, Redpoint Ventures, ICONIQ, and Atreides Management.

The new capital brings AcuityMD’s total capital raised to more than $160 million.

The Boston-based startup provides a commercial intelligence platform designed to help medical technology companies better understand healthcare providers, market dynamics, and sales opportunities.

The platform integrates medical device data across the product life cycle, from sales to patient outcomes and reimbursement trends, enabling users to track product performance, identify target physicians and facilities, and analyze market shares

By leveraging advanced data analytics, the platform supports organisations in optimizing go-to-market strategies and improving engagement with healthcare stakeholders.

The newly raised capital is expected to support AcuityMD’s product development, data expansion, and team growth. The company also plans to enhance its AI platform capabilities, including deeper research into healthcare provider networks and purchasing behavior.

In addition to sales intelligence capabilities, the startup plans to extend its product life cycle capabilities, including research and development, launch strategy, and commercialization of next-generation medical devices.

Further, a key focus of the new funding will be the expansion of AcuityAI, the company’s agentic AI product designed to address complex business questions, automate the planning process, and generate actionable market insights for medtech companies.

Commenting on the new development, Mike Monovoukas, CEO and cofounder of AcuityMD, said, “AI will transform MedTech, but only with the right context, deeply embedded in the workflows where decisions are made. AcuityMD is that context layer, serving the rep in the field, the commercial leader planning territories, and the teams launching the next generation of innovation. "This funding accelerates our shared mission of accelerating the adoption of cutting-edge medical technologies.”
