Aarthi Scans & Labs Launches AI-Based Bone Age Analysis Across 100 Centres in India
BoneXpert, developed by a Europe-based AI med-tech firm and CE-approved, automates bone age evaluation, reducing inter- and intra-observer variability.
Aarthi Scans & Labs, one of India’s leading integrated diagnostics providers, has rolled out BoneXpert, a globally recognized AI-based bone age assessment solution, across all its 100 centres nationwide.
BoneXpert, developed by a Europe-based AI med-tech firm and CE-approved, automates bone age evaluation, reducing inter- and intra-observer variability. The technology provides consistent and reproducible results from a single X-ray, enhancing clinical reliability.
“Bone age assessment plays a crucial role in evaluating growth disorders and endocrine conditions,” said Dr. Arunkumar Govindarajan, director and radiologist at Aarthi Scans & Labs. “Implementing BoneXpert across our network allows us to deliver consistent, clinically actionable reports using internationally accepted standards, supporting treatment monitoring for both clinicians and patients.”
The AI solution assesses growth and pubertal disorders, endocrine conditions, and long-term skeletal monitoring. Using a single left-hand X-ray, BoneXpert delivers multi-method analysis including Greulich-Pyle (GP), Tanner-Whitehouse (TW2/TW3), carpal bone age, Bone Age SDS, and Bone Health Index (BHI). This comprehensive evaluation supports early detection of constitutional growth delays and endocrine abnormalities.
BoneXpert also offers faster turnaround times while maintaining high clinical precision, helping paediatricians, endocrinologists, and orthopaedic specialists access reliable insights for timely decision-making.
