The department will offer end-to-end oncology services, including screening, advanced imaging, biopsy procedures, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.

Zynova Shalby Multi-Specialty Hospital has launched a dedicated oncology department aimed at providing structured and comprehensive cancer care amid the rising burden of cancer cases in India.

The department will offer end-to-end oncology services, including screening, advanced imaging, biopsy procedures, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.

According to Dr. Khanna, Senior Consultant Head and Neck Onco-Surgery, the department will focus on timely diagnosis and evidence-based treatment planning.

“Our Oncology Department is committed to providing timely and evidence-based cancer care, understanding that swift action after diagnosis can make a life-saving difference. Early detection and immediate initiation of the right treatment significantly improve outcomes and help prevent serious complications,” he said.

He added that the department will ensure coordinated evaluation, accurate staging, and planned therapy to avoid delays in treatment. The hospital has also integrated advanced technology and a multidisciplinary approach to design treatment strategies based on individual patient needs.

In addition to clinical management, the department will provide nutritional guidance and emotional support services to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.

Commenting on the launch, Reny Varghese, COO of Zynova Shalby Hospitals Mumbai, said the oncology department has been designed to deliver evidence-based treatment supported by advanced infrastructure and specialist expertise.

The hospital stated that the initiative is part of its broader effort to expand specialty healthcare services and address the increasing demand for cancer care in the region.
