Zanskar Raises INR 2.8 Cr to Expand Digital Pain Care and R&D

Looking ahead, Zanskar plans to introduce new solutions for arthritis and muscle recovery, expand its AI physiotherapy app, and explore physiotherapy-led wellness centres in metro cities.

Gurgaon-based wellness startup Zanskar has raised INR 2.8 crore in a seed funding round led by Zeropearl VC, with participation from angel investors including Pawan Gupta (Founder, Fashinza), Amit Baid (Managing Partner, 10X Growth Ventures), and Nidhish Mundra (SVP, Oaktree Capital).

The company said the funding will support digital expansion, research and development, and wider distribution across direct-to-consumer and offline retail channels. A dedicated R&D vertical focused on chronic pain and recovery solutions is also part of the plan.

Digital and Science-backed Focus

Founded by IIT Delhi alumni Anshul Mittal and Manu Mittal, Zanskar develops proprietary, science-backed formulations for joint pain, migraines, back pain, and arthritis. Alongside its product portfolio, the company is scaling its AI-driven physiotherapy app to deliver personalised, at-home digital pain management.

Industry data shows India’s pain-relief market has doubled in the last five years to about INR 16,000 crore, with analgesics and topical rubefacients growing at 18 percent annually, three times faster than the overall OTC market.

“This round is a huge validation of our belief that pain relief doesn’t need to come with a trade-off. We’re excited to partner with Zeropearl to take Zanskar to more homes across India and continue building products that actually work and that people love using,” said Anshul Mittal and Manu Mittal, Co-founders of Zanskar.

Investor Backing and Growth Plans

Bipin Shah, Managing Partner, Zeropearl VC, said, “At Zeropearl, we look for brands solving real and deep problems with authenticity and innovation. Zanskar’s approach to pain care by combining science with empathy really stood out for us. We believe the team is well-positioned to build a trusted and scalable brand in a category that impacts millions of people in India and overseas.”

Looking ahead, Zanskar plans to introduce new solutions for arthritis and muscle recovery, expand its AI physiotherapy app, and explore physiotherapy-led wellness centres in metro cities.
