Wockhardt Names New IT Leadership, Appoints Sumit Singh as CTO & Unmesh Deshpande as Head of IT Infrastructure
Sumit Singh has rejoined the organisation as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), while Unmesh Deshpande has been named Head of Information Technology (Infrastructure).
Wockhardt Hospitals has announced two key appointments to its technology leadership team.
Sumit Singh has rejoined the organisation as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), while Unmesh Deshpande has been named Head of Information Technology (Infrastructure).
Singh, an independent director with more than three decades of experience in healthcare IT strategy, digital adoption, and enterprise transformation, previously served as Group CIO at VPS Healthcare and Wockhardt Hospitals.
In his new role as CTO, he will focus on advancing digital healthcare ecosystems, building innovation-driven platforms, and creating scalable solutions aligned with Wockhardt’s growth and patient-first mission.
While, Deshpande will lead IT infrastructure initiatives, including landscape transformation, perimeter security, remote access, Active Directory forests design, and strengthening the IT governance framework. His previous experience includes leadership positions at KareXpert and Kingsway Hospitals.
The appointments reflect Wockhardt Hospitals’ commitment to leveraging technology for improved patient care and organisational growth through innovation and digital transformation.
