Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav Flags Off Tech-Backed Rural Health Research Center in Buldhana

He added that the Central Government continues to upgrade rural healthcare infrastructure with advanced diagnostic equipment and welfare initiatives to improve access and affordability.

Union Minister of State for AYUSH, Health and Family Welfare Prataprao Jadhav has laid the foundation stone for the Adarsh Rural Health Research Center at Mehkar in Buldhana district.

The INR 5.6 Cr facility is being established under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the AIDS Research Institute.

Speaking at the event, the union minister said, "The Adarsh Rural Health Research Center will play a valuable role in getting to the root of the diseases occurring in rural areas.''

He further stated that the government remains committed to strengthening healthcare services at the last mile in rural areas and that the new center will support research on diseases specific to rural communities.

"The work of providing good healthcare to the last mile is going on across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Health Minister J. P. Nadda. Various welfare schemes are being implemented by the Central Government to ensure that every person gets healthcare easily and at a reasonable price," the minister added.

Additionally, Jadhav noted that the central government continues to upgrade rural healthcare infrastructure with advanced diagnostic equipment and welfare initiatives to improve access and affordability.

The event was attended by state officials, health professionals from ICMR, and local dignitaries.
