UniDoc Deploys Health Cubes at Verizon Innovation Labs to Showcase Connected Virtual Care

The deployment is part of Verizon’s Innovation Labs program, which tests and showcases technologies that integrate with the company’s connectivity solutions.

UniDoc Health Corp. has installed two Health Cube units at Verizon Innovation Labs in Los Angeles and San Francisco as part of a three-unit deployment aimed at demonstrating connected virtual care capabilities to enterprise visitors.

The third unit is scheduled for installation near Washington, D.C., before the end of the year.

The deployment is part of Verizon’s Innovation Labs program, which tests and showcases technologies that integrate with the company’s connectivity solutions. UniDoc’s Health Cubes will be used to demonstrate clinician-assisted virtual examinations and telehealth workflows in environments designed for enterprise evaluation.

The Health Cube is equipped with UniDoc’s virtual care platform and Verizon-powered connectivity, enabling hands-on demonstrations of remote diagnostic workflows. Each unit includes a range of clinical instruments and software used to support virtual assessments, such as a USB electronic stethoscope, Versa Scope, multi-parameter vital signs monitor (SpO₂, blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, scale), ECG/EKG with blood analysis, laboratory equipment, IT communication systems, and NEIL Connect software. The units also feature ADA-compliant infrastructure, including CCTV, to support secure and accessible operations.

Verizon will use these installations to show how virtual care technologies can be integrated into connected enterprise environments, including scenarios involving clinician-assisted exams, remote patient monitoring, and coordinated care across pharmacies, clinics, and community locations. Demonstrations are currently being coordinated between UniDoc and Verizon teams, with scheduling and workflow design underway.

UniDoc said the Innovation Labs placements will allow enterprise stakeholders to evaluate how integrated telehealth systems can be incorporated into existing digital health and connectivity frameworks. The company added that the units are intended to serve as functional demonstration sites for decision-makers assessing connected care solutions.

“The deployments create a practical venue to show how our Health Cube, NEIL Connect software, and integrated Verizon connectivity can support clinician-assisted exams, remote monitoring, and care coordination,” UniDoc president and CEO Tony Baldassarre said in a statement.

Vancouver-based UniDoc continues to develop its e-health platform for clinician-assisted telehealth delivery. The company’s stock (CSE: UDOC) opened trading at $0.16.
