Thyrocare Technologies has launched a new diagnostic laboratory in Thana, Bhagalpur, Bihar. 

The move is part of the company’s ongoing expansion to increase access to diagnostic services in underserved regions, particularly in Eastern India.

The Bhagalpur facility is equipped with high-capacity automated analysers, which the company states are intended to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in test processing. 

The lab will offer a mix of routine and specialized diagnostic services, supporting the area's preventive and ongoing healthcare needs.

By processing samples locally, the Bhagalpur lab is expected to reduce turnaround time for test results, a significant factor in improving timely medical intervention.

“With the increasing healthcare needs of this region, our Bhagalpur lab will ensure that people in and around Bhagalpur receive faster, more accurate, and affordable diagnostic results,” said Rahul Guha, managing director and CEO, Thyrocare.

Furthermore, the company emphasized that the lab aims to improve diagnostic delivery infrastructure by bringing essential testing capabilities closer to regional populations, thereby reducing dependence on centralized facilities and minimizing reporting delays.
