Teladoc Health has partnered with Walmart to broaden access to virtual healthcare services through the retailer’s Better Care Services platform, adding urgent care, dermatology and nutrition offerings for customers across the United States.
The collaboration allows Walmart customers to connect with Teladoc Health’s virtual care services using either insurance benefits or cash-pay options. Under the cash-pay model, users can access virtual clinical consultations for $89 per visit to address common conditions such as sinus infections, pink eye, urinary tract infections, and flu-like symptoms.
For dermatology services, patients can upload images of skin-related concerns, including rashes, sunburns, and infections. Board-certified dermatologists review submissions and provide diagnoses and treatment plans within 24 hours, according to the company.
The nutrition service enables one-on-one consultations with registered dietitians for personalized dietary guidance, including support for diabetes management, weight control, and prenatal nutrition needs.
The partnership also integrates prescription fulfillment, with medications directed to pharmacies, including Walmart’s pharmacy network, enabling same-day delivery and, in select locations, delivery within an hour.
Walmart launched its Better Care Services platform earlier this year as a digital health hub connecting customers to third-party telehealth providers. The platform was later expanded to include weight management offerings, including access to GLP-1 medications.
Teladoc Health said the Walmart collaboration extends its existing retail and platform partnerships strategy. The company already serves more than 100 million people and works with over 100 U.S. health plans.
The companies said the integration is designed to place healthcare access within everyday retail environments where consumers already engage for health-related decisions.
Teladoc Health President of U.S. Group Health Kelly Bliss said the partnership aligns with consumer behavior trends, noting that patients increasingly seek healthcare access in retail settings alongside traditional health plan and employer channels.
Walmart Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships, U.S. Health & Wellness Leslie Fletcher said the addition of Teladoc strengthens the company’s goal of expanding accessible and convenient care options through its digital health platform.
Teladoc has recently expanded its presence across consumer platforms, including partnerships with Amazon for health benefit integration and Instacart for cardiometabolic programs linked to grocery purchasing and nutrition support.
