The partnership aims to strengthen backend operations and improve delivery efficiency for healthcare products across over 1,000 cities in India.
Digital healthcare platform Tata 1mg has partnered with SaaS-based e-commerce enablement firm Unicommerce.
The partnership aims to strengthen backend operations and improve delivery efficiency for healthcare products across over 1,000 cities in India.
The collaboration focuses on fulfilling Tata 1mg’s own-brand portfolio, including nutraceuticals, kids’ and women’s nutrition, protein drinks, and wellness items for diabetes, pregnancy, and lactation.
Order Automation and Inventory Tracking
The integration of Unicommerce’s technology platform is set to automate order processing and enhance inventory accuracy for Tata 1mg. With real-time tracking capabilities, the system improves demand forecasting and ensures timely product availability.
One key feature of the system is batch tracking, which facilitates the identification of expired or defective products and automatically triggers alerts to safeguard consumer safety.
In addition, the platform enables Tata 1mg to manage orders received via its own website and multiple partner marketplaces through Unicommerce’s multi-channel order and warehouse management systems.
Ketan Bhatia, Vice President of consumer Products at Tata 1mg, stated, “As a leading online health and wellness brand, we’re focused on delivering a seamless shopping experience. Our partnership with Unicommerce strengthens our e-commerce operations to enhance the buying experience for our customers across the country.”
Commenting on the association, Kapil Makhija, MD & CEO, Unicommerce, said, “Healthcare brands are embracing technology to optimise their digital channels, providing timely deliveries to end customers, which is a critical factor in this sector. We are privileged to support Tata 1mg in their journey to offer rich wellness experiences.”
