Suraksha Clinic & Diagnostics Opens New Center in Shyambazar, Expands Kolkata Network

The center offers X-ray, USG, ECHO, ECG, PFT, blood tests, and OPD services, adding to Suraksha Clinic and Diagnostics’ network of diagnostic solutions across the region.

Suraksha Clinic and Diagnostics has expanded its presence in Kolkata with the launch of a new diagnostics centre in Shyambazar. The facility was inaugurated by Dr Minakshi Ganguly, Councillor of Shyambazar, in the presence of healthcare professionals, staff, and guests.

The center offers X-ray, USG, ECHO, ECG, PFT, blood tests, and OPD services, adding to Suraksha Clinic and Diagnostics’ network of diagnostic solutions across the region.

A spokesperson for Suraksha Clinic and Diagnostics said, “The launch of our new centre in Shyambazar reflects Suraksha’s commitment towards expanding reliable and accessible diagnostic services across Kolkata. We are honoured by the presence of Dr Minakshi Ganguly at the inauguration ceremony, and we remain dedicated towards delivering high-quality healthcare and diagnostic services that the community can trust.”

Suraksha Clinic and Diagnostics has been operating for nearly three decades with more than 60 centres nationwide, supported by advanced technology and laboratory infrastructure.

The organisation has recently hosted cancer awareness sessions at its Helabattala centre. It has been conducting multiple public health awareness initiatives covering World Hepatitis Day, ovarian cancer awareness month, World Organ Donation Day, and other key health observances.

Suraksha Clinic and Diagnostics also launched a genomics lab in Eastern India this year with an investment of around INR 22 crore.

An additional INR 46 crore investment is planned over the next two years to build one of Asia’s advanced genomics laboratories. The company has recently introduced a full range of genetic testing, including Whole Exome, Chromosomal Microarray, Single Gene studies, and rare disease panels.

Established in 1992, Suraksha Clinic and Diagnostics offers more than 2,300 tests across pathology, radiology, and medical consultancy. Its network includes a central reference laboratory, eight satellite laboratories, 59 diagnostic centres, and 166 sample collection centres across West Bengal, Bihar, Assa,m and Meghalaya.
