Superhealth, United Imaging Seal INR 2,500 Cr Radiology Equipment Deal in India
The multi-year deal will equip 100 upcoming Superhealth hospitals with advanced imaging systems over the next five years.
Superhealth and United Imaging Healthcare have signed a strategic agreement valued at over INR 2,500 crore, marking the single-largest radiology equipment procurement in Indian healthcare.
The multi-year deal will equip 100 upcoming Superhealth hospitals with advanced imaging systems over the next five years.
The contract includes AI-ready MRI machines, 160-slice CT scanners, full-body Cardiac CT, Digital Mammography, and Digital X-ray systems. United Imaging will establish a dedicated service hub and parts depot in India, creating over 1,000 high-skill jobs.
Currently, India performs fewer than ten CT scans per 10,000 people annually, less than one-seventh of OECD levels, highlighting the demand for expanded imaging infrastructure.
