ShardaCare-Healthcity Launches Greater Noida’s First Comprehensive Cancer Care Center
It is designed to provide a full spectrum of oncology services, including early screening, advanced diagnostics, treatment, and post-treatment care.
Leading superspeciality hospital ShardaCare Healthcity has announced the launch of a comprehensive cancer care centre in Greater Noida, aimed at expanding access to specialised oncology services in the region.
The newly launched facility is positioned as the first of its kind in Greater Noida, offering integrated cancer care under a single roof.
It is designed to provide a full spectrum of oncology services, including early screening, advanced diagnostics, treatment, and post-treatment care.
The initiative seeks to address the ongoing challenge, such as late diagnosis and limited access to specialized treatment.
The facility is expected to provide a wide range of services such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted and endocrine therapies, as well as minimally invasive and robotic surgeries.
In addition, it also incorporates advanced radiotherapy techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and brachytherapy.
To support the initiative, the hospital has also onboarded a team of specialists, including Malay Nandy as Senior Director & Head, Medical Oncology; Parveen Mendiratta as Director & Unit Head, Surgical Oncology; Sanjeev Kumar Tuli as Associate Director, Surgical Oncology; and Ruchir Tandon as Senior Consultant, Medical Oncology.
They join an existing multidisciplinary team comprising Hemkant Verma, Anil Thakwani, Anindya Mukherjee, and Swarnita Sahu, supported by specialised nursing and clinical staff to deliver integrated cancer care.
Commenting on the new initiative, Dr. Kousar Shah, Group CEO, ShardaCare-Healthcity, said, "Our focus is on building an integrated oncology ecosystem that not only delivers advanced treatment but also ensures continuity, accessibility, and patient-centric care. The expansion of our oncology team reflects our commitment to bridging existing gaps and enabling patients to access comprehensive, high-quality cancer care closer to home.”
In addition to the new development, the Noida-based healthcare organization recently launched its Institute of Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) aimed at treating complex blood disorders in both paediatric and adult patients, including leukaemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, aplastic anaemia, bone marrow failure syndromes, thalassemia, and sickle cell disease, including high-risk and complex transplant cases.
