Berry Street Merges With Healthify to Expand AI-Powered Metabolic Care

Under the merger, Healthify’s AI nutrition coaching technology will be integrated into Berry Street’s digital patient experience.

Berry Street has merged with India-based Healthify to create an AI-powered metabolic health platform combining Healthify’s nutrition technology with Berry Street’s network of more than 2,000 clinicians and insurance-covered nutrition and GLP-1 care in the US. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The combined company will be led by Berry Street CEO and founder Noah Kotlove and Healthify CEO Tushar Vashisht as co-CEOs. In the US, the business will continue under the Berry Street brand, while Healthify will retain its brand in India and other international markets.

Healthify brings its AI nutrition and metabolic health assistant, Ria, to the combined platform. The company has more than 45 million users across more than 20 cultures and has developed AI capabilities based on hundreds of millions of dietitian-to-patient interactions.

Ria provides multimodal and multilingual nutrition support, including food logging through photographs. Healthify has also developed a GLP-1 weight management program and a patient support initiative with Novo Nordisk.

Berry Street, founded in 2023, provides nutrition and metabolic care through registered dietitians, doctors, and nurse practitioners. The company operates across all 50 states and has served more than 200,000 patients through partnerships with health plans, Amazon, Walmart and other consumer platforms.

The company expanded into obesity and weight management last year with its GLP-1 Nutrition Pathway Program, allowing patients to receive clinical support and access to FDA-approved weight-loss medications through insurance.

Under the merger, Healthify’s AI nutrition coaching technology will be integrated into Berry Street’s digital patient experience. Patients will continue to receive one-on-one clinical care while using AI tools for nutrition guidance, meal tracking and health-data integration from wearables and laboratory results.

Berry Street is also part of the first cohort of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ ACCESS model, a 10-year initiative focused on technology-enabled, value-based management of chronic conditions. The company plans to apply Healthify’s AI capabilities to support larger patient populations, including Medicare beneficiaries in cardio-kidney-metabolic care tracks.

Berry Street raised $50 million in February 2025 from Northzone, Sofina and FJ Labs. The company said the merger will also support Healthify’s continued expansion in India and other international markets.
