Saurabh Gupta Appointed Regional Director - Greater Mumbai at KIMS Hospitals

Gupta has been associated with KIMS Hospitals since 2022 and has held multiple senior operational roles across regional clusters. 

KIMS Hospitals has appointed Saurabh Gupta as Regional Director – Greater Mumbai, expanding his leadership responsibilities within the hospital network. He was previously serving as Regional Chief Operating Officer for the Mumbai and Nashik cluster at KIMS.

Gupta has been associated with KIMS Hospitals since 2022 and has held multiple senior operational roles across regional clusters. Prior to his appointment as Regional Director, he served as Regional Chief Operating Officer – Mumbai/Nashik from April 2024 to November 2025. Before that, he was Regional Chief Operating Officer for the Sunshine Cluster between June 2022 and April 2024.

Commenting on his appointment, Gupta said, “I have been entrusted with the role of Regional Director – Greater Mumbai at KIMS Hospitals. My focus will be to strengthen patient care, empower teams, and help bring quality healthcare closer to communities in Mumbai.”

In his earlier roles at KIMS, Gupta oversaw hospital operations across locations including Mumbai, Nashik, Thane, Hyderabad, and Begumpet. His responsibilities included operational scale-up, commissioning of new hospital units, and performance improvement initiatives across clusters.

Before joining KIMS Hospitals, Gupta worked at Medanta as Vice President – Operations from February 2020 to May 2022. In that role, he led operations and business performance at Medanta’s Lucknow facility, one of the group’s largest hospitals.

Gupta also held leadership roles at Fortis Healthcare between 2017 and 2020, serving as General Manager (Group) – Strategy & Operational Excellence. His responsibilities included driving operational initiatives and supporting leadership teams across the Fortis hospital network.

Earlier in his career, Gupta was associated with McKinsey & Company, where he worked as an Implementation Coach focused on hospital operations and healthcare transformation projects in India and international markets.

Gupta is an alumnus of the Indian School of Business and is based in Thane, Maharashtra.
