Sai Life Sciences, a contract research, development, and manufacturing organisation has joined forces with Dassault Systèmes, a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and software solutions, to accelerate its drug discovery endeavours.

This partnership aims to harness Dassault Systèmes' state-of-the-art solutions, enhancing productivity, data quality, and collaboration within Sai Life Sciences' Research and Process Development laboratories, ultimately fast-tracking drug discovery efforts.

In the move, Sai Life Sciences will deploy Dassault Systèmes' industry solution experience, ONE Lab, built on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and utilising BIOVIA applications.

Dr Damodharen, chief quality officer of Sai Life Sciences, said, 'œThe integration of Dassault Systèmes' '˜ONE Lab' empowers us to drive productivity, enhance data quality, and fortify data security, transforming our approach to research across the entire spectrum from early-stage development to commercial manufacturing.'

The primary objectives of this collaboration include error reduction, time-saving measures, sustainability promotion, and the establishment of a unified, dependable source of information to facilitate collaborative efforts among stakeholders spanning research, development, and commercial manufacturing.

The adoption of ONE Lab by Sai Life Sciences strategically aims to enhance security measures, streamline data access and analysis, and construct an integrated digital platform for its research and development (R&D) and chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC) laboratories.

This initiative targets significant challenges in the research sector, particularly those linked with project implementation.

Deepak NG, managing director of Dassault Systèmes India, said, 'œ This is not just about optimising productivity and data quality; it is about setting a new benchmark for collaboration and efficiency in the industry. We are not simply innovating; we are shaping the future of research, one breakthrough at a time.'

Established in 1999 in Hyderabad, Sai Life Sciences operates on a fundamental ethos of collaboration. They focus on partnering with pharmaceutical and biotech firms to expedite the exploration, advancement, and production of intricate small molecules, ultimately contributing to a healthier future.

On the other hand, Dassault Systèmes SE, established in 1981 and headquartered in Vélizy-Villacoublay, France, is a multinational software corporation specialising in the development of software for 3D product design, simulation, manufacturing, and various other 3D-related applications.

Globally, the company employs 22,500 people in 197 offices, positioning it at the forefront of innovative technology.
