Redcliffe Labs Expands Diagnostic Network in West Bengal with Midnapore Facility

The facility offers a broad spectrum of testing capabilities, including biochemistry, hematology, immunoassays, clinical pathology, serology, and hormone analysis.

Redcliffe Labs has launched a new diagnostic laboratory in Midnapore, West Bengal, further strengthening its reach across East and West Midnapore and neighboring towns, including Khargapur, Jhargram, Contai, Ghatal, Tamluk, and Haldia.

The facility, situated in Sadar District’s Miya Bazar, is designed to address the rising demand for reliable diagnostic services beyond major metropolitan centers. It offers a broad spectrum of testing capabilities, including biochemistry, hematology, immunoassays, clinical pathology, serology, and hormone analysis. The laboratory is headed by Dr. Manatosh Mandal, a pathologist with over 12 years of experience.

Dr. Prashant Nag, Chief Operating Medical Officer of Redcliffe Labs, highlighted the clinical focus of the expansion, stating, “At Redcliffe Labs, clinical excellence and patient trust are the cornerstones of our work. With the launch of our Midnapore laboratory, we are ensuring that people in this region have access to the same accuracy, reliability, and preventive health solutions that define our services across India. This expansion is not just about infrastructure, but about enabling healthier lives by providing clinicians with reliable reports to guide the treatment for better patient outcomes.”

The Midnapore laboratory adheres to NABL and ISO guidelines and implements Six Sigma processes, with over 50 stringent daily quality checks. Its digital infrastructure, supported by AI and machine learning, allows sample tracking, smart report downloads, and comparative health progress reports, aiming to enhance both precision and patient experience.

With this expansion, Redcliffe Labs aims to enhance the accessibility and reliability of diagnostics in East and West Midnapore, as well as surrounding towns, by providing clinicians with timely reports to support informed patient care decisions.
