Rahul Datta Steps into Group COO Role at Ankura Hospitals

Datta’s career also includes operational leadership roles at Gurunanak Hospital and Research Centre, Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Dr. D. Y. Patil Hospital and Research Centre, and E-Meditek Solutions Ltd.

Rahul Datta has assumed the role of Group Chief Operating Officer at Ankura Hospitals. He shared the update through a LinkedIn post, marking his appointment to the leadership position.

Announcing the role, Datta wrote, “It's been a while but wanted to share with you all. Honored to step into the role of Group COO. Grateful for the trust, confidence from the leadership team and looking forward to driving scale, operational excellence and patient-centric impact across the group at Ankura Hospitals!”

Datta has been serving as Group Chief Operating Officer at Ankura Hospitals since April 2025 and is based in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Before joining Ankura Hospitals, he served as Group Head and Senior Vice President Operations at Fernandez from May 2024 to March 2025 and as Chief Operating Officer at Fernandez Hospital between November 2021 and January 2024.

His earlier roles include Unit Head at Rainbow Children’s Hospitals in Banjara Hills from November 2019 to October 2021 and Chief Operating Officer at Asian Cancer Institute from April 2017 to June 2019, following earlier tenures at the organization.
