Prodoc AI Raises Seed Funding to Build Intelligence Layer for Indian Hospitals

Prodoc AI plans to deploy the new capital towards advancing its Agentic AI capabilities, expanding system integrations, and developing AI agents for complex hospital workflows.

Bengaluru-based healthcare AI company Prodoc AI has raised an undisclosed amount to strengthen its intelligence layer for Indian hospitals that connects fragmented hospital systems and patient interactions.

The seed funding round has been led by Dr. A. Velumani Family Office, while Dr. Kunal Shet and Parth D. Bhasin have also participated as existing users of the Prodoc AI platform.

Dr. A. Velumani, Creator, Thyrocare, AVMLabs, AVMSmiles and AVMDiabetes, said, "In healthcare, getting leads is relatively easy; however, converting these leads into revenue is tedious. Many leads get lost midway due to process fatigue. As a result, providers struggle with higher customer acquisition costs while facilities remain underused.

Converting "Lead to Revenue" needs intelligence or AI, where I believe Prodoc AI can reduce customer acquisition costs by 10 to 25% based on lead quality and pricing of services by enabling one resource to deliver the output of five. The company has been building an intelligence layer across existing hospital technology, allowing providers to coordinate patient journeys without replacing their current infrastructure.

Prodoc AI’s Patient Journey OS has been designed to connect communication and workflow channels, supporting patient acquisition, appointment conversion, OPD intelligence, care coordination, follow-ups, partner and referral management, Voice AI, and other hospital operations.

The company currently operates across more than 100 hospitals, processes over one million patient engagements each month, and supports more than 50 software integrations.

Founded in 2022, the company is led by Co-Founder and CEO Asit Kumar Vidyarthi and Co-Founder and COO Raghuvamshi Thakur.

Its broader group of industry advisors and supporters includes Dr. A. Velumani, former HCG CEO Raj Gore, and former Columbia Asia Group CEO Dr. Nandakumar Jairam.
