Prodoc AI & AHPI Ink MoU to Advance DPDPA Compliance Across India’s Healthcare Sector

The initiative is aimed at strengthening privacy and compliance to build a responsible and secure digital healthcare ecosystem.

Bengaluru-based healthtech company Prodoc AI and the Association of Healthcare Providers (AHPI) India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support DPDPA implementation across India’s healthcare sector.

The partnership is expected to focus on supporting healthcare organizations to build stronger data governance, responsible AI practices, and patient trust into the way they operate.

“At Prodoc AI, we believe DPDPA goes beyond regulatory compliance. It presents an opportunity for healthcare organizations to strengthen data governance, embrace responsible AI practices, and build greater patient trust,” the healthtech company stated.

The MoU was signed in the presence of·Dr Sunil Khetarpal, Deputy Director General, AHPI, and Asit Kumar Vidyarthi, Co-Founder & CEO of Prodoc.AI.

Founded in 2022 by Asit Kumar Vidyarthi and Raghuvamshi Thakur, Prodoc AI offers an agentic AI and patient engagement platform for hospitals and healthcare providers.

The platform automates patient care journeys across numerous channels, including WhatsApp, voice, SMS, IVR, and web chat.

It currently supports more than 135 languages and is live across 200+ hospitals and healthcare providers.

Its platform integrates with existing HIS, EMR, LIS, and billing systems and is designed to support compliance with HIPAA, DPDPA, and ABDM (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission) frameworks.
