Bengaluru-based Praan Health, a lifestyle-first chronic care platform for parents aged 50 and above, has raised INR 8.5 crore in a seed funding round led by Rainmatter Investments, with participation from WEH Ventures and angel investors including Alakh Pandey, Prateek Maheshwari (PhysicsWallah), and Arjun Vaidya.

The startup plans to utilize the funds to strengthen its product and technology capabilities, expand its clinical and coaching teams, and broaden service delivery across India.

Launched in 2024 by Navneeth Ramprasad, Praan Health provides physician-led care, clinical nutrition, and strength training to manage and reverse chronic conditions through habit transformation. The platform delivers personalized programs spanning 90, 180, and 365 days for over 25 chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, osteoporosis, and post-surgery recovery.

The company has recently introduced a mobile application that enables young adults to monitor their parents’ health journeys. The app allows users to upload blood test results, track risk scores, receive weekly progress updates, and access doctor consultations.

In less than a year, Praan Health has conducted over 50,000 personalized sessions and supported more than 1,500 families across India. The multidisciplinary care team comprises physicians, clinical nutritionists, physiotherapists, and strength coaches.
