Park Medi World Acquires Punjab’s Krishna Super-speciality Hospital for INR 40 Cr
The Bathinda facility is expected to benefit from shared medical expertise and standardized hospital processes within the group.
Park Medi World has acquired Krishna Super-speciality Hospital in Bathinda, Punjab, through an all-cash deal valued at ₹40 crore, taking full ownership of the 250-bed multi-speciality hospital.
The transaction, approved by the company’s Board, involves the purchase of 100% shareholding of Mahip Hospitals and marks a shift from operational management to complete ownership of the hospital.
The acquisition builds on an existing relationship, as Park Medi World has been managing the Bathinda hospital since July 2025.
After overseeing operations and clinical performance during this period, the group has moved to integrate the facility permanently into its hospital network.
Commenting on the acquisition, Dr. Ankit Gupta, Managing Director of Park Medi World Limited, said the move represents a key milestone in the company’s mission to deliver world-class healthcare across North India.
He noted that after managing the hospital for several months, the group was confident about fully integrating the 250-bed facility into the Park Medi World ecosystem. According to him, the hospital’s central location enables it to effectively serve both urban and rural patients, reinforcing the group’s commitment to inclusive healthcare.
Krishna Super-speciality Hospital functions as a major hospital hub for Bathinda and the surrounding districts, catering to both urban and rural populations. The hospital has a total capacity of 250 beds, including close to 70 intensive care unit beds, supported by modular operation theatres and automated diagnostic laboratories.
Mahip Hospitals, which owned and operated the hospital, was incorporated in 2015 and has reported rising turnover in recent years as hospital activity expanded.
With the Bathinda hospital now fully onboarded, Park Medi World is expected to align clinical protocols, hospital technology platforms, and operational systems with its existing hospitals.
The Bathinda facility is expected to benefit from shared medical expertise and standardized hospital processes within the group.
