Paradigm Health Partners with Roche to Advance AI-Driven Clinical Trial Enrollment

Paradigm Health has announced a partnership with Roche as part of its effort to use artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the enrollment of patients in clinical trials. The company aims to make trial setup faster, less expensive, and more inclusive for patients who traditionally lack access to research studies.

The announcement follows two developments for the startup. Paradigm said it has raised an additional $78 million from investors, including ARCH and General Catalyst. The company has also acquired a business from Flatiron Health, a unit of Roche, that had been working toward similar goals in clinical trial operations.

Paradigm has raised a total of $253 million to support its approach, which focuses on using AI to streamline the process of establishing clinical trials rather than replacing human participation. The company said the goal is to reach a broader range of patients and expand access to research opportunities.
